The Illex Chatter Beast is a versatile lure that can be used in both freshwater and saltwater fishing. It attracts a wide variety of predatory fish and is an absolute eye-catcher thanks to its unique action and the visual stimuli it creates.

The Illex Chatter Beast is an impressive surface lure originally developed for sea bass fishing. Its redesigned design with a bulkier body creates increased movement in the water. It also features a continuous 1mm stainless steel wire that securely holds the hooks in place, making it strong enough to safely land tropical freshwater species such as Aimara and Peacock, as well as marine fish such as Barracuda, Tuna and small Mackerel.

What makes this lure special is the transparent prism cavity that contains two metal beads. These beads bounce off the grooves in the cavity and create deep vibrations and an impressive visual attraction when the light is reflected from the prism. This combination of light and sound instinctively attracts and triggers attacks from many different predators such as perch, asp, pike, sea bass and even black bass. The Illex Chatter Beast is therefore ideal for creating exciting surface action.

The surface lure is available in several models, including the Chatter Beast 110, which is 11 cm long and weighs 19.5 g, and the Chatter Beast 90, which is 90 mm long and weighs 12.5 g. Both models float on the surface and have a walking-the-dog action.
